Los Angeles, CA (October 1, 2018) – Venable LLP is pleased to announce that Thomas Baxter, a seasoned entertainment and media corporate attorney, has joined the firm's Corporate Practice as counsel in the Los Angeles office. Mr. Baxter primarily advises media, entertainment, and technology companies, as well as private equity firms in the entertainment and media space.
Mr. Baxter has in-depth experience in matters pertaining to the distribution, production, and finance for major films, TV studios, and multichannel video programming distributors (MVPDs). He advises clients on entertainment-related joint ventures, licensing agreements, and mergers and acquisitions. He has represented and advised a variety of high-net-worth individuals and companies over the years on corporate issues and business transactions.
