Experience

  • Represented a commercial lender in a successful partial summary judgment, and final judgment after a bench trial, against a borrower and guarantor to collect note and guaranty. (Va. Cir. Ct.)
  • Represented a consulting firm that obtained a unanimous jury verdict in its favor in defense of breach of contract claim, based on plaintiff’s unauthorized use of company’s goodwill and corporate identity. (Md. Cir. Ct.)
  • Represented a commercial landlord in an action initiated by a tenant for a declaration as to the status of its purported lease termination. The landlord prevailed when tenant conceded and dismissed its claim. (E.D. Va.)
  • Represented a commercial landlord that obtained a verdict in its favor and a judgment for possession after a bench trial on tenant’s claim that it validly exercised an option to renew. (Va. Cir. Ct.)
  • Achieved a successful defense of claims asserting breach of intellectual property assignments amid dissolution of an international joint venture LLC and other intra-corporate disputes (W.D. Wash. and D. Minn.)
