Commenting on his move to Venable, Mr. Wagner said, "Interestingly enough I have worked with five partners in the New York office at a prior firm, so I have been fully aware of Venable's strengths and capabilities for a number of years. The firm will provide me with the perfect platform to grow my practice, and I look forward to contributing to its growth and reconnecting with my former colleagues."

Mr. Wagner received his J.D. from the University of Richmond Law School in 1992, his M.B.A. in finance from the College of William & Mary in 1989, and his B.A. in history from the College of William and Mary in 1985. He is admitted to practice in New York and Virginia.
