Mr. Sheng joins Venable as a partner in the Intellectual Property Litigation - Technology Group in the San Francisco office. He specializes in complex intellectual property disputes and has represented clients before the International Trade Commission, federal district and appellate courts, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Mr. Sheng has extensive experience in matters related to telecommunications, semiconductor integrated circuits, smartphone and tablet displays, and life sciences and pharmaceuticals. Earlier in his career, he served as a law clerk to Chief Judge Randall R. Rader of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
