Communications Daily Cites Venable’s Telecommunications Alert on the Emerging Space Industry

On February 12, Communications Daily cited Laura Stefani’s recent client alert, “FCC Continues to Support the Burgeoning ‘New Space’ Industry.” The Communications Daily article, “ISAM NPRM Shows Emerging Industry Has Arrived,” covered FCC efforts to create a licensing framework for the emerging in-space servicing, assembly, and manufacturing industry. The article noted Stefani’s analysis in her recent alert regarding the connection between this developing ISAM framework and another FCC “open proceeding allowing use of new spectrum bands by manned and unmanned spacecraft, [which] could pave the way for development of future space stations and other expanded economic activity in space.”
