Venable partner Doug Green will participate in a webinar, "The Federal Coal Ash Program: Where We Are and the Path Forward," hosted by Air and Waste Management Association (AWMA), on October 8, 2020. This webinar will discuss the EPA’s current federal coal combustion residuals (CCR) program and the expected future changes to the program over the next few years. The panelist will address the two recent significant revisions to the CCR regulations (Part A and Part B rules), what they expect to see in a final federal CCR permit program, the status of state CCR permit programs, and EPA’s anticipated regulation of “legacy CCR impoundments” and its impact on the power industry.
