Venable counsel Janice Gregerson will present “Fairness and Integrity: Anti-Trust and DOJ, Legal Considerations in the Admissions Lifecycle” at the 2022 Annual Institute, to be hosted by the Association of Independent School Admission Professionals (AISAP) in Chicago on July 12.
This session is designed to help admissions professionals understand the various areas in the admissions lifecycle where there is potential for legal risk. It will also provide risk mitigation strategies they can employ to ensure their admissions processes are consistent with high ethical standards, while meeting the operational needs of the institution. Janice will review the applicability of antitrust considerations as it relates to admissions professionals and admissions processes, with a focus on understanding the areas where the Department of Justice appears to be focusing its efforts.
