Aaron Aber

Aaron Aber advises clients on a variety of environmental matters. Aaron has experience working on federal, state, and local permitting for offshore wind and land-based infrastructure projects; due diligence for real property and energy asset acquisitions; and state and federal land use and hazardous waste litigation. He has assessed permitting and compliance issues under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Section 404 of the Clean Water Act, Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act, the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act, and the New York State Brownfields Cleanup Program.

During law school, Aaron worked as a law clerk in the Environmental Enforcement Section of the United States Department of Justice Environment and Natural Resources Division, and as a legal intern at the U.S. Forest Service Ecosystem Management Coordination Office.
